Abstrat: The aim of this thesis is to reconstruct the everyday life of employees of Elektropřístroj Písek, by using the methods of oral history and other archival sources. Every single period of time was affected by building a socialist society and its consolidation. Helping the farmers by patronage of JZD was later replaced by a companionship with a soviet enterprise. Also work and social conditions were changing during particular periods of the comunist regime. A democratisation process and a more free society that culminated in the year of Prague Spring, which was reflected both in employees' initiative and in the company organization and its economy, was characteristic of the sixties of the last century. The August invasion ment a sudden change and the following period of condition consolidation completely suppressed liberal tendencies of previous development. The whole period is completed by stagnation in the eighties, atempts of ecomonic revival after M. Gorbačov's appointment, the revolution in 1989 and denationalization of the company during main privatization. Adaptation of "enterprises of foreign trades" (PZO) to situation after 1989 revolution in Czechoslovakia

This bachelor thesis follows the apdaptation process of Enterprises of foreign trades (PZO) on the market changes after the year 1989. The purpose of this work was to describe the structure and operation aktivity of said enterprises and parent organizations before 1989 and then describe and analyse their ability to handle new market conditions. This thesis describes the transformation period to the disintegration of Czechoslovakia, ie. until the end of 1992. This thesis also contains descriptions of the changes in structure and operations of five specific trade organizations, some of which still exist and six organizations which specified on propagation as well. The analysis was performed on the basis of thorough research of historic and present literature as well as memories of one former employee. It is shown in the text that the discussed period was very demanding for the trade companies. Change of strategy was crucial otherwise the enterprises would collapse. The Impact of "Doi Moi" Reforms on the Economy in 2004-2014

The goal of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the impact of the Doi Moi reforms on the Vietnamese economy in 2004-2014, which has started in late 80s of the last century. The theoretical part deals with the basic macroeconomic aggregates, alternative indicators of living standards, the effects of international trade on economic growth and particular attention is given to the chapter comparing centrally planned economy to a market capitalism. This theoretical background will provide information base for the data analysis in the practical part of the bachelor thesis. The analytical part explores the reform period and the reasons for the implementation of liberalization reforms, which affect the country's economy even thirty years after their launch. The analysis shows that the bridge between the previous and present centuries are the later effects and externalities arising from the reforms. That means growing private sector, which has become stronger in the last decade of the last century so from the beginning of the new millennium it has become the main drive of economic growth in Vietnam.
The economic development of Czechoslovakia during the Fourth Five-Year Plan (1966–1970)

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the economic development of Czechoslovakia during the Fourth Five-Year Plan (1966-1970) taking into account political development concerning mainly the formation of the second economic reform in Czechoslovakia. The theoretical section of the thesis deals with the political and the economic situation in Czechoslovakia between 1947-1965. It also looks into the characteristics of mechanisms of the functioning of the Czechoslovak economy. The analytical section deals with Šik´s Reform including its most important economic documents. It analyses the Fourth Five-Year Plan focussing on the most significant indicators of the national economy - national income, investments, industry, agriculture and forestry, transport and communications, water management, international trade, construction industry, standards of living, research and development. Despite the continuation of Šik´s Reform which had little influence on changing the economic progress, and despite the political tensions culminating in August 1968, the economic development during the Fourth Five-Year Plan can be regarded as quite successful.
The development of the textile industry in the Šumperk area in the first years after the Second World War with example of company Moravsko-slezské lnářské závody

The Bachelor's thesis describes the development od textil industry in Šumperk. It is focused on the period after World War II. The whole industry through changes at this time. This issue is explained in the deveplment of local company Moravsko-slezské lnářské závody -- using probe method. The thesis deals with the postwar status of economy in this sector in Šumperk and also in nationwide development. It characterizes the changes that have occurred in the building of central planning. The work is mainly focused on the development of the company. First it was market by the transfer of the German population. Then it is dealt the administrative changes, which is resulting from central planning. The conclusion deals with the implications of the two-years and five-years plans. The result is that central planning had a rather negative impact of the business.
Comparison of the first Czechoslovak Five-Year plans. Their formation and implementation.

This thesis is concerned with the first and second five-year economic plans in Czechoslovakia. These plans were created as a centrally planned. The paper starts with the global and domestic situation, both from a political and an economic perspective for understanding these events. The second part is a description of the two-year Czechoslovak economic plan, which hadn't been created purely the responsibility of the Communist Party, or under the influence of Soviet advisers. The main part deals with the first and second five-year plan, its creation, realization, including problems, it was necessary to revise the plan, what happened, especially in the second five-year plan and a summary of the results and deviations from the original plan. Conclusion compares these five-year plans, what were similar and different, what mistakes were repeated, and whether we can see or not to see parallels of the plans.
Comparison of the living standards in North Moravia region and Prague in the 70s and 80s of the 20th century

The Czechoslovakian economy and standard of living of the population in Czechoslovakia in the 70's and 80's of the last century, can be evaluated, in comparison with the developed countries of the former Western World, as lagging behind. However, in this comparison, has to be taken into account the different political systems of each country. The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of living standards of citizens in selected regions of Czechoslovakia and the subsequent comparison of this two selected areas. The theoretical part includes not only an introduction into the issue of standard of living, but also the general outline of the political and economic situation in the former Czechoslovakia. Based on empirical research, the thesis is trying to find meaningful data on this issue. A comparison of expenditures and incomes of households, availability of medical and social services, equipment or free time spending -- this all is included in this research, which first analyzes the data in this two regions, which is beeing comparing in the last part. The specified hypothesis, that residents of the North Moravia region had a comparable, if not higher standard of living, than in Prague, thanks to at that time very supported steel industry, was in the framework of certain investigated factors partly confirmed. A particularly due to higher total industrial employment and the associated higher wages in this sector. The citizens of the North Moravia region had better results in the context of household equipment too. On the other hand, the people of Prague had better conditions in the availability of health and social services and richer leisure activities in the field of cultural life.
Development of the Czechoslovak Economy in the 50th 20th century

The main subject of this bachelor thesis is the development of the Czechoslovak economy during the first five-year plan, of 50th the 20th century. Economic development during the first five-year plan is influenced by the post-war restoration of Czechoslovakia. For this reason, the first part deals with the historical events of the post-war transformation of Czechoslovakia. This part of the work is connected with Communist takeover and the subsequent introduction of central planning in the first five-year plan. The space is dedicated to the process of creating of the plan and its balance. This work deals with the incorporation of Czechoslovakia into Comecon, The Council for Mutual Economic Assistance, which was necessary due international political situation and the arrival of Soviet advisers, who had a great influence on the development of the economy during the first five-year plan and in the following years. In conclusion, are analyzed thesis of the five-year plan, in which we can saw the biggest changes. These sectors include agriculture, industry militarization, social policy and industrialization of Slovakia. The aim is to determine whether the behavior of the real economy corresponded to central planning and the impact of planning on the economy.
Post-war agricultural development in Czechoslovakia, with emphasis on the first five-year plan

This work aims to summarize the political and economic changes in Czechoslovakia after the 2nd World War and their reflection in agricultural policy and rural population lives. The work is divided into three parts according to political development. The first part examines the situation immediately after the war of 1945 and part of 1946. In this period was reflected above all the necessity to deal with the consequences of war and the start of reconstruction of daily life, challenges for the restoration of agriculture and increase production of basic food and housing border through land reform. After the elections of 1946 was strong influence of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia. They were conducting the first steps towards central planning, was announced two-year recovery plan for the years 1947 and 1948. He ordered the return of agricultural production to pre-war value and other land reform. The last part after the February coup 1948, agricultural policy has completely under the baton of the Communist Party, was declared the first five-year plan, the last phase of land reform and in 1953 was the first wave of collectivization of the Soviet model, cooperative ownership has played a major role in the country.
